Sirputis designs the process and the machines; the Sirputis / Metal Production group fabricates them in Šiauliai with our partner network; the client or a local operator owns and runs the plant. Each entry carries its status — delivered, in delivery or field-tested. Scope descriptions are what has been announced publicly; contract values are available to qualified partners on request.

Polar Algae AS — Hammerfest, Norway

Two custom processing lines — one for dry-seaweed processing and one for wet-seaweed processing — announced February 2023 and delivered to NorSea Polarbase for start-up in 2023. Further dry-line, wet-line and installation stages were ordered in 2026 and are in delivery. Design capacity 6,000 tonnes of seaweed per year across the wet and dry lines — our largest seaweed processing line to date.

Sirputis two-stage seaweed pre-processing line

SINTEF — pre-processing pilot line

PILOT LINE · 10–500 KG/H · NORWAY
Washing, feeding, blanching, cooling, grinding, conveying, pressing and packing in one pilot-scale pre-processing line for SINTEF's seaweed research platform. Layout (14 × 9 m) accepted 8 April 2026; equipment in procurement and fabrication. What it delivers: a complete wet-processing pilot at 10–500 kg/h of wet seaweed.

Ocean Rainforest — Faroe Islands

Mechanised direct-seeding machine developed with Ocean Rainforest and Seawiser inside the Horizon Europe SeaMark project, tested at sea at up to 3 km of grow line per hour.

    Stainless-steel fabrication

    Product-contact parts in AISI 316/316L, non-contact in 304/304L — cut, welded and assembled in the Sirputis / Metal Production group workshop.

    Automation & PLC in-house

    Control cabinets, PLC programming and line automation are built by the same team that designs the process — no third-party black boxes.
  3. 03

    Process design office

    General-arrangement drawings, process-flow diagrams and equipment schedules; the Sirputis biorefinery design tool matches capacity to the resource before a machine is specified.
  4. 04

    Pre-shipment testing & commissioning

    Machines are run before they leave the workshop; installation, commissioning and operator training follow on site, then remote support.
