Seaweed washing machine
A seaweed washing machine removes sand, stones, shell and epiphytes from freshly landed biomass using recirculated freshwater and a de-sanding stage. Sirputis builds washer-and-elevator units in AISI 304 and 316 stainless steel, sized from pilot batches to several tonnes per hour, and matched to the species and the downstream product route.
Seaweed shredder
A seaweed shredder cuts washed blades and stipes to a uniform particle size so pressing, drying and extraction run evenly. Sirputis supplies single-stage shredders and two-stage shredder-grinder lines with species-tuned cutting geometry, protecting downstream pumps and presses from long, stringy kelp material and blockages.
Seaweed screw press and dewatering equipment
A seaweed screw press mechanically squeezes water from washed, shredded biomass, cutting drying energy and stabilising the material before storage. Sirputis SP-series seaweed dewatering equipment is tuned per species and product path, reaching a high dry-matter gain in a single pass, in food-grade AISI 316/316L stainless steel.
