Sirputis selected for The Pitch by Deel Berlin final — advancing seaweed processing solutions
Sirputis has been selected to present its idea at the Berlin regional final of “The Pitch,” a global startup competition organized by Deel and sponsored by J.P. Morgan.
Out of thousands of startups worldwide, Sirputis will compete in Berlin for a $50,000 prize and a place in the global final.
The selection highlights a growing global recognition of the seaweed industry as a scalable infrastructure opportunity. Sirputis develops modular seaweed processing and biorefinery systems that convert coastal biomass into high-value products — including biomaterials, bio-feedstocks, and aquaculture inputs.
As the blue economy expands, solutions that enable efficient seaweed processing, local value creation, and full biomass utilization are becoming increasingly important for sustainable coastal development.
