Description
A hammermill is used to reduce the size of the seaweed and, if required, the milled product can be put through one or more screens or meshes. The term ‘milling refers to the grinding of solid matters by mechanical forces and to the process of breaking down material. A hammer mill is a mill that uses the repeated blows of a plurality of hammers to crush material into smaller pieces.
It consists of discs with hammers specially designed and mounted on a common axle. The hammers can rotate about their axis under the action of centrifugal force and resistance at the same time. The quality of the product of the required structure is achieved by combining the design and layout of the hammer, as well as the speed of rotation of the shaft, taking into account the structure of the raw material to be processed.
The mill can also process other dried foods as well as produce spices. The perforated sieve is easily replaced to obtain a different product structure.
In manual feeding, the ground product will crumble into a plastic container or bag. Stand-alone aspiration system to maintain a safe work environment. The whole construction is made of AISI316L steel with an electric motor.
